For your school class trip, get more history, more learning, and more hands-on lifelong memories at Nelis’ Dutch Village. School tour reservations can be made now for your 2013 spring school tour. All student groups from public schools, private schools, private learning facilities as well as homeschooled students are welcome.

Our home school field trip club recently attended a tour at Dutch Village. The tour guide was knowledgeable and able to engage the children at varying ages. The entry fee to the park was cost-effective.The children learned about history; music; dance; wood carving and enjoyed the fun rides afterward. SCHOOL TOUR BOOKING INFORMATION:
Knowledgeable costumed guides will lead your class through our 18th century
Netherlands village. Students are introduced to the work, traditions, customs
and diversions of the Dutch.

School tours include:
- An educational, age appropriate movie about the Netherlands of today
- Frisian farm house and barn
- Old Dutch cheese making demonstration
- Wooden shoe carving
- Amsterdam Street Organs demonstrations
- Free time activities include petting zoo with baby farm animals, shopping,
Wooden Shoe Slide and unlimited rides on our Zweefmolen (chair swing),
Draaimolen (carousel), and Petal Pumper Cars.

All students will receive a FREE personalized wooden shoe nametag!
(please e-mail or fax a list of students' names three week prior to your visit,
so that we may can have the name tags ready when you arrive.)

Please allow one hour for your tour plus extra time for eating, shopping and exploring.
Smaller groups, such as homeschoolers can enjoy sack lunches in the picnic area located throughout the park.
Our boxed lunches can be pre-arranged for your group.
